The Elixir microphone and instrument preamplifier is a module that fits into the API format 500 series frames and features the Buzz Audio True Class A discrete amplifiers coupled into a hi-spec Lundahl output transformer.  It has very very low self noise and an awesome amount of headroom for the most demanding recording applications.
